Standard primers rely on mechanical adhesion alone — which is often insufficient on smooth, non-porous, or chemically treated metal surfaces like galvanised steel or Zincalume. Super Etch Primer works differently: it chemically bonds with the substrate at a molecular level, creating a tenacious base coat that dramatically improves the performance and lifespan of the entire coating system above it. If you are coating a challenging surface, skipping this step is the most common cause of premature failure.
